Calm does not always require a formal exercise session. Gentle movement can be woven into ordinary moments: rolling the shoulders while the kettle heats, stretching after sitting, walking to the next stop, or swaying slowly to a favorite song. The aim is to release held tension and reconnect with the body without turning movement into another performance goal. Begin by noticing where you feel tightness or heaviness. Let your range of motion stay comfortable, and stop before strain becomes the focus. Breathe naturally as you move, allowing the exhale to soften the effort. Five minutes of unhurried movement can interrupt long periods of stillness and give the nervous system a different rhythm. Keep expectations light. Some days you will feel energetic, and other days barely moving may be enough. Both count as care when the intention is to feel more at home in your body.
