Days often become crowded when one activity runs directly into the next. Create a breathing space between tasks to mark the transition. Before opening a new tab, leaving a room, or starting a meal, pause for one full breath. Feel the ground beneath you, soften the jaw, and let the exhale finish completely. This tiny interval helps the nervous system register that one demand has ended and another has not yet begun. Without it, responsibilities can blur together and make the day feel heavier than it is. You can attach the pause to something you already do, such as standing up, closing a door, or setting down your keys. Over time, these repeated moments of transition become gentle punctuation marks in the day. They do not remove stress, but they create enough space to meet it with steadier attention.
